This music is characterized by the purposeful use of simplified sounds to reflect the then-current vogue of blues and other roots music being used in many roots rock bands. NettetI am thrilled that “Rumble” by Link Wray has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. My goal for the last twenty years has been to bring the legacy of this unsung rock hero to light. I am happy my efforts, and those of Link’s fans, to promote Link’s legacy, have finally paid off.
