It remains the very best Hotel in Snowdonia for walkers as well as being an excellent centre for exploring by car. Date of stay: July 2024 Web2. júl 2024 · The Pen-Y-Gwyrd Hotel, the home of British mountaineering, sits alone perched on the flanks of Mount Snowdon which we hiked up setting out directly from the front door. We were warmly welcomed and the friendliness and efficiency of the staff was a highlight. We were taken through the keypad protected residents door and up the stairs.
